The equipment at our facility is assigned a rank (A, B, C, D or E) based on an operational test performed by a technician fully certified under the national requirements for the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism. Equipment will be judged fit to be used again after collection, reuse and disposal of Freon gas, following which it is subject to a pressure test, replacement of electrical components and an oil change. (There are also unmaintained, low-priced goods)
Even though used goods are often said to be cheap and bad, following restoration (or maintenance) by a skilled and experienced technician, a machine can be safely used for a certain period with peace of mind.
*The equipment in this centre has largely been collected from the Hokkaido area. Due to the cool climate, operational time is usually quite low, keeping wear of the machine to a minimum even during the summer period.
A | Unused |
B | Equipment in use for less than 3 years. Judged to have plenty of use remaining. |
C | Equipment in use for less than 10 years. Plenty of use remaining. |
D | Equipment in use for over 10 years, however with plenty of use remaining. |
E | Equipment in use for over 10 years. Can continue to be used for a few years. |
Ranking is based on years in use, however when used correctly and with proper maintenance even ranks D and E can continue to be used.
